Hey ya, whats your name buddy?

My name is Rocky.

Where did your trip actually go to?

We went to Scotland.

And how long have u been there?

4 days

What where your expectations before u went there?

To go see the Loch ness monster Nessie ;)

And where did you stay?

We stayed in hotels (Ibis in Glasgow) and B&B

Tell me about your favourite bar and tell me why it is so awesome.

Hmm we went to this bar attached to our B&B next to Loch ness. It was filled with Loch ness memorabilia, an awesome bar tender who told many stories and good beer.

What surprised you the most about the country?

How modern and cool Edinburgh was and how big Loch ness was!

Did you see Nessie finally????

Well, I might tell you later...

What was the funniest word you learned?

People spoke English in Scotland although some people speak Gaelic. The accent was notoriously difficult to understand sometimes.

What was the greatest thing you’ve done?

Kayak across Loch Lomond

What the worst?

Not planning a single thing and missing out on Ireland afterward.

What can we learn from the country?

Scotland is beautiful, breath-taking from the Highlands to the countryside and Edinburgh is such an amazing city. People are nice and friendly and the food including the Haggis was worth a shot.

What did you miss the most from home?

I missed my bed. Staying in hotels can only be so comfortable. I also missed cooking my meals.

Which stereotype was fulfilled?

Scottish people are friendly and their accent is difficult to understand sometimes.

Which stereotype was falsified?

Didn’t see too many people with kilts.

Do you wanna say something else?

Just go for it ;) Definitely worth a visit to see Edinburgh. Glasgow was just another city, so nothing too special. Also, I never found Nessie in the Loch ness, but still it’s worth a try to go there and look!
