The best Rooftop Bars in NYC

Once you are in New York, of course you want to climb up a skyscraper or cheaper- a tree to get an amazing view over the city.
Something like this here probably:

BUT to go up the Rockerfeller Center might cost you about $40 which is a lot but also definitely worth it. I know another way to get a great view and a drink for less than $40:

1. The Standart Hotel - Manhattan
2. Juliette - Brooklyn
3. Gellow Green - Manhattan
You have to queue on the ground floor and take the lift up on the roof with a real lift boy ! Under the rooftop there is a nice restaurant and a theater. On the week-ends they are having brunches on the roof top. Just a dream :)
4. Webster Aprtements - Manhattan
This is not a public rooftop and unfortunately only woman are able to access this with a person living in the house. The house is aiming to provide affordable (well subjectiv :P) and safe accomodation for woman living short-term in NYC. I am sure if you ask someone going in the building, they will show you their rooftop.
5. AirBNB - Brooklyn
This is just a general hint. A lot of apartements in NYC have access to their own rooftop and often gym. So if you book yourself into an AirBNB make sure they have one !

We went to Highschool back in Germany together and met randomly in New Yor...the world is so small :P
